Mid term meeting
A midterm review was held between 2 and 5 May 2012 in Capri, Italy.All work package leaders and task leaders presented the progress and outcomes over the first 18 months under supervision of scientific coordinator Fulvio Scarano of TU Delft.
The external reviewer was Dr. Jürgen Kompenhans from DLR, who was impressed by the interactions between partners and the quality of the work shown. He reported positively on the outcome so far and suggested to work towards a few highlights in the next 18 months of the project such as diagnostics and industrial applications (exploitation potential).
Based on this meeting, the first progress report was produced and successfully adopted by the Commission.

Kick Off Meeting Afdar
On December 2nd the Afdar consortium had its first full-consortium meeting after project start. The kick-off meeting took place in Delft, The Netherlands.
